The GreenSceneTM logo was developed by the IAPD Environment Committee to help members promote the environmental advantages of performance plastics.
 
The GreenScene logo is a sign of commitment to environmental stewardship and acknowledges the efforts of IAPD members to proactively take responsibility to develop and operate their business in an environmentally friendly manner that respects the natural environment hand-in-hand with the commercial environment in which we operate and live.
 
The GreenScene logo stands for education, awareness and a willingness to act and take on the challenges that come along with good environmental stewardship.
 
IAPD members who have earned the right to display the GreenScene logo on email signatures, email blasts, brochures, spec sheets, sell sheets, exhibit pop-up displays, websites have made a commitment to sustainability in the performance plastics industry. Many of them will be happy to share their stories with you.

Cast Nylons Ltd.

Cast Nylons Ltd. is a manufacturer of cast nylon headquartered in Willoughby, OH, USA.

  • Founded in 1979 with three locations in Ohio; operations in Mexico.
  • Products used in construction, food processing, waste water, material hand.
  • Hosts corporate-wide Eco-Green Program that included an environmental mission statement posted throughout the company’s workplace, an analysis of utility usage and identification of areas to reduce consumption and implementation of measures to reduce electricity, water and natural gas usage.
  • Installed high-efficiency HVAC units and solar-powered lighting, numerous weather-proofing improvements throughout all facilities and low-water requirement landscaping was planted to reduce water needs during the summer months.
