IAPD and APCGT Establish Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund for Plastics Community

Overland Park, KS — The International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD), the international trade association comprised of companies engaged in the distribution and manufacturer of engineering plastics, has partnered with the Atlanta Plastics Charity Golf Tournament (APCGT) to raise funds for members of our plastics community affected by Hurricane Harvey.

APCGT and IAPD established the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund to assist those in the plastics community who are recovering from the flooding and are in need of financial assistance. “Learning of the catastrophic flood that has impacted the Houston area, and knowing that we have many colleagues who have lost everything, it is vital to IAPD to help aid in their recovery,” said IAPD CEO Susan Avery, CAE.

APCGT and IAPD made initial contributions and are seeking donations from IAPD members. “We are grateful to partner with the Atlanta Plastics Charity Golf Tournament and appreciate the many generous donors for their contributions,” said Avery. Donations will be collected until November 1, 2017 and can be made by visiting www.atlantaplasticscharity.org or by sending a check to:
