Craig Saunders, Director of Supplier Relations and Logistics at North American Plastics, Elected IAPD President

Overland Park, KS - The International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD), the international trade association comprised of companies engaged in the distribution and manufacturing of performance plastics, has elected Craig Saunders as its president for 2019-2020. He was voted in by the IAPD Board of Directors at the 63rd Annual IAPD Convention and Plastics Showcase in Miami Beach, FL, USA on Sunday, September 22, 2019. He officially took office for a one-year term beginning on September 26, 2019, at the conclusion of the convention.
Saunders has been in the performance plastics industry his entire career, starting out on the manufacturing side of the business. He is now on the distribution side as the director of supplier relations and logistics at North American Plastics. Saunders has served on the IAPD Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Strategy Task Force and Supply Chain Efficiencies Task Force.
Saunders's focus for his presidency will be on the true value of the trade association: the ability to mobilize resources to solve industry challenges collectively, rather than each company trying to do so on their own. He believes there is tremendous value that involvement can bring to members personally and, most importantly, to their companies.
