FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Redwood Plastics and Rubber Vice President of Marketing Angela Rodenburgh Receives 2017 IAPD Pacesetter Award

Overland Park, KS —The International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD), the international trade association comprised of companies engaged in the distribution and manufacturer of performance plastics, announced that the 2017 Pacesetter Award recipient is Angela Rodenburgh during the opening general session of the 61st Annual IAPD Convention and Plastics Expo on October 18 in Chicago. IL, USA. The Pacesetter Award is presented in recognition of an IAPD volunteer leader who set the pace for the association.

Rodenburgh is a dedicated volunteer who serves the association in many different capacities. She brings her marketing expertise to the Marketing Committee, where she serves as chair, and to the Environmental Committee. She also contributes to the Women in Plastics Common Interest Group, speaking at events and providing promotional communications. Rodenburgh has presented several popular IAPD webinars on social media topics, written informative and educational articles for Performance Plastics magazine and is always willing to step up and contribute when there is a need.

"Angela brings fresh ideas and enthusiasm to everything she does," said IAPD CEO Susan E. Avery, CAE. "She was a natural candidate to step into the role of chair on IAPD's Marketing Committee, and has introduced major new initiatives during her tenure. Angela also brings some much-appreciated marketing acumen to IAPD's Environmental Committee. One of the notable contributions Angela has made to IAPD -- and the performance plastics industry -- is through her role on the Women in Plastics Common Interest Group. She was one of the first volunteers to step up to form this group and she has used her considerable talents to make this group's initiatives become successful."

Angela Rodenburgh has more than 15 years of experience working in B2B and B2C environments specializing in branding, sales team integration, web development and digital marketing and was recently promoted to board member and vice president marketing for Redwood Plastics and Rubber. She is an active member of IAPD: she chairs the Marketing Committee, is communications coordinator for the Women in Plastics Common Interest Group (CIG) and a participant on the Environmental Committee and Canadian Common Interest Group.
