Join Women in Plastics for an educational session focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities to women working in the plastics industry. Women in Plastics is committed to supporting women through mentoring, education and personal and professional development to attract, retain and advance women within the plastics industry.
Women in Plastics is open to employees of IAPD member companies who are interested in supporting our objectives, including:
- Promoting leadership and education focused on women in the plastics industry
- Providing resources needed for successful career advancement
- Encouraging work/life balance
Women in Plastics educational session is Tuesday, October 28, 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The IAPD Future Leaders focus is on two objectives. The first objective is a platform for mentoring those members who want to grow their knowledge within the plastics industry. The mentor program will include committed members from IAPD committees and CIGs to serve as mentors while engaging future leader members as mentees.
The second objective is to serve as a central point for networking and professional development provided via IAPD resources and opportunities. The future leaders are encouraged to get involved on IAPD committees and CIGs as well as attend the IAPD Annual Convention & Plastics Expo and regional event opportunities hosted by IAPD.
