2013 IAPD Charity Auction


Bid on Great Prizes for a Good Cause: The IAPD Charitable Foundation

For the first time ever, IAPD is offering a charity auction to benefit the IAPD Charitable Foundation, which funds the annual IAPD Scholarships. There will be two parts to the auction: a silent auction during the Plastics Showcase on Wednesday, October 2 and a live auction that will start during the Plastics Showcase and end at the first stop of the South Beach Pub Crawl.

Silent Auction

The Silent Auction will take place during the Plastics Showcase on Wednesday, October 2. The following items will be auctioned:

2-night stay at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel

Complimentary weekend stay with breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Chicago

Bushnell Neo+ Golf GPS Rangefinder watch and Serengeti Ricco Polarized Driving Sunglasses

Bushnell Golf Tour V3 Slope Edition Laser Range Finder and Serengeti Barolo Polarized Driving Sunglasses

Live Auction

The Live Auction will start at the Plastics Showcase, where you will have the chance to bid on a Martin D1 Acoustic Guitar donated by KYDEX, LLC, among other exciting prizes. The auction will conclude with bidding on the Mystery Prize (a US$2,500 value) at the first stop on the South Beach Pub Crawl. The Mystery Prize is sponsored by Cope Plastics, Inc.


About the IAPD Charitable Foundation

The IAPD Charitable Foundation was established to develop and administer an award program for employees of IAPD member companies amd the children of employees of IAPD member companies at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to promote the study of polymer sciences.

Each year, scholarships are awarded in amounts up to US$4,500 to provide meaningful financial support for the education of worthy scholarship candidates.

The IAPD Charitable Foundation is a non-profit tax exempt corporation. Donors to the IAPD Charitable Coundation may take advantage of tax deducations on Federal tax returns. A receipt will be provided for tax purposes. (Please consult a tax advisor for details.)
